Martina Coggins

Martina is a professionally trained dancer with over 20 years of teaching experience with all ages and abilities. She has developed and implemented programmes of work for preschool, disability and over 50's dance both in the community and private dance sector.

Martina has worked as both a dance development officer and a freelance dance artiste and her work has extended as far as Pakistan. Martina has also performed with a number of dance troupes and companies performing in America and around the UK. She performed on Britains Got Talent with Sign Along with us coming 2nd in 2020 and performed in the Britains Got Talent Christmas Spectacular.

 

Martina has an HND in Dance & Physical Theatre is qualified in a wide range of dance styles under the International Dance Teachers Association, an OCN in Leading Older People in Dance and is a qualified aerobics instructor, Zumba instructor, Barre Concept Instructor, FitSteps instructor and cheerleading coach with UKCA.

 

Clare Riley

Clare has a degree in Dance and Drama from Liverpool Hope University and works full time with Tracing Steps as a freelance dance and drama teacher. You can catch her delivering our Disability Drama class at Elms Community Centre every Monday as well as teaching Street Dance and drama classes in schools and dance and drama classes within the community. 

 

Clare also helps deliver our 'use it or lose it' programme in care homes across Greater Manchester. She has worked for the team since early 2011.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Jade Kilduff

Jade has been with as a student, and an assistant and now a teacher. She also runs her own group Sign Along with us which not only got David Walliams Golden Buzzer but also went on to come 2nd in Britains Got Talent.. Jade is an sign language and inclusivity champion, she was received a British Citizen Award in 2020 and was a finalist in 2021s Inspiring Women Award. Jade has campaigned for Sign language to be taught in all schools and raised money for a caravan for families with additional needs to use throughout the year. She is a very inspiring young lady to have on our team! You may have seen Jade on TV as a budding actress she has been lucky enough to star in the last series of Shameless and various other TV parts.

 

Joanne Cochrane

Joanne has a Masters Degree in Applied Theatre from the University of Manchester and a BA honours degree in Theatre and Performance Studies. She has also taken part in continued professional development in many areas including age inclusive dance practice and leading drama with people with disabilities.

Joanne has considerable experience as a drama teacher, facilitator, director and a performer. Working both freelance and for different companies within Manchester, Rochdale and Oldham over the past 8 years Joanne has facilitated and directed a variety of theatre, movement and arts and heritage projects within schools, youth groups, theatres, universities, residential homes and community settings.

 

Joanne left Tracing Steps to pursue a career helping families but still covers classes and helps with shows.
